Rare breed pigs, local food, and cheerful, sustainable farming in the heart of beautiful West Wales.
Nestled on the border between Pembrokeshire & Carmarthenshire, our small family farm is dedicated to raising native, rare-breed pigs. With a focus on high animal welfare and sustainable farming practices, we take pride in producing exceptional-quality, ethically produced pork products.
Farming brings us joy, and we want to share that joy with you!
Here at Preseli Hills Farm we breed and raise Oxford Sandy & Black pigs, the 'plum pudding pig', and the occasional Saddleback. Both heritage breeds, these pigs are known for their friendly nature and wonderful characters, as well as producing incredibly flavourful pork. These pigs love rooting, foraging, and enjoying the fresh air, which is why all out pigs are 100% outdoor-reared. With traditional pig arks and 24/7 access to spacious paddocks, our pigs can play outdoors just as nature intended.
Their happy, healthy lifestyle translates directly into the quality of our pork. We’re proud to help conserve these rare breeds and celebrate their special place in Welsh farming heritage.
We’re buzzing with excitement about our buckfast honey bees! They produce natural honey and beeswax here on the farm. These hardworking pollinators are essential to our ecosystem, both here on the farm and across the world! After ensuring our girls have made enough honey for their colony, we filter and jar their spare honey and make a selection of natural beeswax products. These are available seasonally, with more information on these to be published soon!
Being part of the Welsh and British farming community is import to us. We’re therefore prod to be part of Pembrokeshire Porc Penfro – a community of small farms dedicated to traditional breeds and local food in West Wales.
We're also delighted to be members of the Oxford Sandy and Black Pig Foundation Charity, supporting the future of this beautiful, rare breed.
From sausages and joints to seasonal specials, our pork is packed with flavour and care. Our rare breed pigs are 100% outdoor-reared, slow-grown with a commitment to high welfare, resulting in happy pigs and top-quality taste.

All our products are available to collect directly from the farm gate in Login, Carmarthenshire. We can also offer a limited number of FREE DELIVERY slots within 20 miles of Whitland/Narberth, as well as to Brecon, Cardiff and Hereford.
Delivery across the UK mainland is also available for an additional fee:
With this option your meat box will be delivered direct to your door in wool-insulted eco-friendly packaging. When ordering please make sure someone will be home to receive the delivery on the date agreed when confirming your order
To make sure our pork retains it's quality, all our meat boxes are packaged using recycled cardboard boxes and insulted using eco-friendly pure British wool packaging, sourced from Puffin Packaging. The included cool packs can be put into your freezer to be reused, or the non-toxic content used on your garden plants. The fleece insulation can also be reused, with plenty of potential alternative uses around the home (pet and birdhouse bedding; composting and plant protection; needle felting and soft toys; and many more, with just a little bit of imagination!)
If you do not wish to retain the packaging we encourage you to return it to us so they can be reused. Once at the end of their usable life we will then recycle them on-farm, and return the remainders to Puffin Packaging for their recycling scheme.
Availability: Our meat boxes are usually available for collection on Thursdays, with deliveries on Fridays. Exact dates will be provided in advance.
We love working with chefs, butchers, retailers, and food businesses who care about flavour, provenance, and high animal welfare. If you’d like to feature our pork on your menu or in your store, we’d love to work with you. Let’s bring more local flavour to our communities together!
